Welcome to NJ Moving Company (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, website located at www.njmovingco.com, and any related services we provide.

By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Services Provided

NJ Moving Company offers residential and commercial moving services, furniture assembly, TV mounting, packing, and related services.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • A deposit may be required to secure your moving date.

  • Final payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, cash, and electronic payment options.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule your move with at least 48 hours' notice without penalty.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time may result in a cancellation fee.

  • Any Deposits are refundable at the discretion of NJ Moving Company.

  • NJ Moving Company reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances, or emergencies.

4. Liability

  • NJ Moving Company will take reasonable care in handling and transporting your items.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Items not properly packed by the customer.

    • Items included in an waiver agreements.

    • Damage to items due to inherent defects or pre-existing conditions.

    • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or other events beyond our control.

  • For any claim regarding loss or damage, you must notify us within 48 hours after the completion of the service.

5. Insurance

  • Basic coverage is included as required by law.

  • For additional protection, customers are encouraged to purchase full-coverage moving insurance through a third-party provider.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear access to all pickup and delivery locations.

  • Inform NJ Moving Company of any special handling requirements (e.g., fragile, oversized items).

  • Disclose any items valued over $1,000.

  • Provide accurate and complete information during booking.

7. Prohibited Items

NJ Moving Company will not transport:

  • Hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, or corrosive items)

  • Perishable goods

  • Firearms or ammunition

  • Illegal items or substances

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
